ANCIENT MAPS OF THE WORLD
The 17th and 18th centuries are considered cartographers the world over, to be the golden age of antique and historic maps. The L Brown Collection includes over 2000 maps of the world from this period, taking in the a range of countries, oceans and European towns. The maps are of high quality and are visually very appealing. They were commissioned from many important mapmakers including De Wit, Sanson and Blaeu.
