Ireland-1701-1800
A selection of the hundreds of maps of Ireland in the 18th century. This was very much the golden age of European mapmakers and as an important part of the British Empire, most of the important mapmakers of the day produced maps of Ireland. Two part sets by Pratt, Beaufort and Sanson are included together with the composite map by Pratt.
